Government is an integral part of the construction industry. It is deeply intertwined with the work that we do as Operating Engineers. As such, Local 66 advocates aggressively to local, state, and federal governments. Our advocacy focuses solely on issues that protect our wages and benefits, stimulate economic development creating work opportunities, growing market share, and improving job safety and training. We also understand that to succeed we must engage both Republicans and Democrats at all levels of government.

Your participation in the political process is crucial. Please be registered to vote and give consideration to candidates our political team recommends. We are heavily involved in Harrisburg and follow voting records and trends closely.
